Desde el día de ayer y hasta mañana viernes 26 de abril el equipo de la Secretaría de Turismo de la Comuna se está presentando nuevamente en la exposición de eventos mas importante de Latinoamérica. El intendente Gustavo Barrera, presente en el stand geselino, expresó "Pese a la crisis estamos apostando fuertemente a que nuestro destino se expanda ofreciendo un importante abanico de oportunidades para que el turista pueda venir a disfrutar de Villa Gesell y eso nos pone muy contentos".
En este sentido, el Secretario de Turismo, Emiliano Felice, destacó que “en las tres jornadas de reuniones con organizadores de eventos lo que queremos es concretar que lleguen grupos de diversa índole a Gesell durante todo el año”.
La finalidad del evento es promocionar y ofrecer el destino en el mercado de turismo de reuniones, congresos, convenciones, viajes de incentivo, entre otros. Se trata de una acción cuyo objetivo es ofrecer los salones de congresos y convenciones que hay en los hoteles de la ciudad y tratar de generar un movimiento turístico fuera del verano, es decir, en temporada baja, trabajando para romper la estacionalidad.
VILLA GESELL IS PRESENT IN A NEW EDITION OF EXPO EVENTS
From yesterday and until tomorrow, Friday, April 26, the Villa Gesell Secretariat of Tourism team is present in the most important exhibition of events in Latin America once again. The mayor Gustavo Barrera, who is present in the stand of our city, said: "Despite the crisis, we are betting high on our destination expansion, offering an important range of opportunities for tourists to come and enjoy Villa Gesell, and that makes us very happy".
In this sense, the Secretary of Tourism Emiliano Felice highlighted that "in the three days of meetings with event organizers we want to set that diverse groups come to Gesell throughout the year."
The purpose of this event is to promote and offer the destination in the tourism market of meetings, conference, conventions, incentive trips, among others. Its objective is to offer the conference and convention rooms that are in the hotels of the city and try to generate a tourist movement after summer, that is, in the low season, working to break the seasonality.
